hi Webmaster, once again thanks a lot for your daily efforts on this addictive site, just a note about the WMD credits on the 1991 vinyl issues of the Peel Sessions, like this 12" picture. Although not credited on the labels, the copyright on the backsleeve is owned by WMD: Wotre Distribution Label, a french label. Moreover, the run out grooves 670001 WM 111/119 A-2 and 670001 WM 111/119 B-2 feature the WM letters. So think that all Strange fruit releases with "(C) 1991 WMD" and "WM" on run out grooves could be considered are french, as the cd releases. Could you please tell what you think of it? thanks a lot & cheers from France!

		Hi siamese, thanks for your post. Note you won't find SACEM here, while the French issue has SACEM on it http://www.thecurerecords.com/... The copyright reads WM, but also BBC. Note the "Made in United Kingdom" sticker on the back. Even if the run-off groove reads "WM", what matters to us when we classify items by country is the target market. It could have been pressed in France but still be a UK release. // Sorry for the poor updates lately. Very soon you'll all see a new feature on the site that has kept us busy these days.
