Is this version of One Hundred Years the same as the version included on the deluxe edition of Pornography?

it was recorded at Pippbrook Mill House in Dorking known as Rhino Studio @

ok, but in the Deluxe it reads 'Rhino Studio demo, so it's a different place so different version, right?

The Pipbrook Mill version of The figurehead has been broadcasted on the french TV channel TF1 on march 20th, 1982 (the program was called "Megahertz"). But I never heard about a recording of 100 Years in the same studio, the same day... and if yes, it has never been broadcasted on TV ! And definitly, this is not a "live" version of One Hundred Years on that Fast Forward Cassette, but a Demo version.

One day, hopefully soon, i will mange to put all my old vhs onto dvd and post on Youtube..i have the figurehead somewhere i am sure, and if i recall correctly it was indeed a tiny studio, all 3 of them close to one another...it was shown in a french program called Megahertz...I will let you know through the forum when they're up on the net

hi Vandeeb, i saw it a while back on a compilation of early cure clips (including some 1982 live performance on french tv), i think it must have been a segment on a TV show in 1982, as it was pro-shot. interesting stuff.

hi all, if anyone has seen the film of the band actually inside pipbrook mill playing one hundred years and the figurehead, if i recall correctly, it is a tiny windmill, so maybe a pre-studio demo, definitely not live, as they would be lucky to have fit a sound engineer in there, let alone a crowd!
