EMI blue & white paper sleeve. Despite it doesn't state "promo" anywhere, label differs slightly from the commercial version. Titles are displaced differently, like "A forest" being above "The Cure", and the logo's dark-blue colour isn't the same.

PROMO ??? Sorry to repeat myself

Bonjour ... Sorry to repeat myself ... but it is a big mistake to believe that these are promos the singles under editor sleeves with same labels without distinctive sign of promo on labels and slv ... As in many countries, the singles were sold with commercial sleeves or with publicity sleeves of the publisher or distributor ... during this period in N-Z, the majority of singles, 12" and promo albums were distributed with a rectangular white paper etiquette stuck on one of the two labels with black text: "DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE ... Copyright Owner" ... I think to have all Australian and N-Z singles with this two sleeves ... There is none form of promotion in this type of sleeves ... Regards.

Hello again Sukiac, and i have not seen this edition, not once since last time(may 2013), so i guess this is very, very hard to get, so promo or not promo, it doesnt matter;)

Bonjour ... Additional Information ... this is not the same pressing ... not the same engraving ... not the same labels ... not the the same ref # (BFA-004-PH-8441-700 / B-004-BFA PH 8442-700) (BFA A. R 004/004 B. BFA) ... I think a second edition ...

Bonjour ... Thank you Lasse for your answer and your understanding ... The Australians and the NZ know their records as well as us and probably better than us ... Collectors like 'LESCURE' (Australian) have never sold and said that they were promos ... 'The Cure On Record' among others, never spoke of these discs as promo ... I bought these singles between 4 and 8 euros ... I have them all with or without pockets ... I should be happy but it is not the truth ... I can understand that it is difficult to find ... these markets are small and more if this false information circulating ... they stay well hidden ... one day they will be on eBay at this price ... It is true and very possible that there are differences as in all productions of all countries ... The differences do not create a promo but another pressing ... It should make scan/photos and put them on the site ... I have been collecting for years ... and I know some differences or errors in the prints ... If there is an error it is normal and right to correct ... and this is not the only one! ... we must stay foremost collectors ... Although sincerely ... J-C

Hello Sukiac, maybe not promo, but the label is not the same, if you compare with the other Forest new Zealand. This is much, much harder to find. I Think i have seen this one time on ebay in 9 years, and the other one maybe 20-30 times. Best regards/Lasse
