[Promo only] - 7" France Polydor (+ insert & pressbook)

Issued in 1984. Catalogue #881 058-7. Two white promo stickers on label & back sleeve. Some copies were issued with a promo Polydor insert and/or pressbook. Other copies distributed in Germany had a german Metronome insert and lyrics sheet.

Bonjour ... The 2-French promo single are WITHOUT white stickers ... ONLY UK and GERMAN ... It would therefore be correct to change the 2-photos with stickers ... If necessary scans, tell me ... Regards.

		Included this same pressing in the pink/yellow slv 'AVANT PREMIERE' 'PROMO' ... identical matrix number.

		Bonjour Nicolas ... YES this 7 "promo was made and distributed in France WITHOUT this white label ... to some there was added the compilation of 46-pages of photocopies of press clippings, 1-pg of text promotional and on the cover a photo of the album 'The Top' (A4) ... The white labels were added for the UK promo (with or without supplement or other, no seen ???) and which was used at the same time to the Germanic promo with an A4 'Metronome' sheet ... To my knowledge and apart from the golden label (which I saw pass once) there is therefore only one print (Fr) modified for UK and Germania ... Regards.

Promo sleeve not colour sleeve

My copy is in a French Polydor Promo Test sleeve, not the colour sleeve with booklet. Should it be in a different listing?

		I also have a copy in Avant Premiere sleeve, though differs slightly to the Shake Dog Shake live sleeve. Mine is from French radio station with R.A written on it and the date 7/84. It has no stickers. So I would say this version is definitely legit radio promo version in A P sleeve. Any from German radio station do we know.

		Bonjour ... For me here is my version ... This single is released on promotion in France with the illustrated sleeve written on front 'ECHANTILLON GRATUIT, NE PEUT ETRE VENDU' ... And in the upper right-hand corner the reference Polydor '881 058-7' followed by 'POL 001' ... The labels bear the acronym 'SACEM' and the Polydor number identical to the sleeve ... Why put a sticker on these SACEM / Polydor indications that everyone understands in France ??? It would be abnormal to hide them ??? This single with this beautiful sleeve promo was surely accompanied by Press kit(s) ... This French promotion is used in UK with two stickers with English language 'Promotion-Single' 'LC6444' (which means Fiction) pasted on the reference numbers Polydor and SACEM ... This same UK promo was used in Germany by Metronome with a sheet A4 text in German ... The single with the sleeve promo 'Avant PremiÃ¨re' is Polydor (no mention Fiction) has no stickers !!! Sent probably to the radios without file ??? (I bought one like that) ... I think that without this understanding there was confusion, invention and mixing settled ... In summary it should exist ... 2-promo French without stickers with/without files or sheets ... 1-promo UK with 2-stickers with/without files or sheet ... 1-promo Germany with 2-stickers and 1-sheet ... Regards.

		Resurrecting an old topic, I have this same version. No white sticker, and generic pink-purple Polydor '"Avant Premiere" sleeve. Bought it several years ago, and it's been in my box of "Cure items to sort" since then. I didn't know if it was a Frankenstein's monster or what. But it looks like others have this version too. Maybe they didn't have enough of the custom sleeves and used generic sleeves for the remainder?

		Bonjour ... YES it's an authentic promo ... the label-1 without white 'sticker' ... this same vinyl exists too under the illustred cover.

		someone can help me about this copy please ? i went on popsike.com and yes there is a possibility for this avant premiere promo sleeve but i want to know if it's a real official sleeve for this vinyl..? thanks
